I just never understood World of Warcraft and how it can be so addicting to people. I love RPG's. One of my favorite, if not THE favorite, gametypes of mine but I just don't understand how it is so alluring. Then again I have only played it for a total of 15 minutes roughly 3 years ago. It didn't seem all that great to me.

I have a level 12 or 15 Night Elf warrior on my friends account. But I haven't played it in awhile and would love to play it again. It was pretty fun.

No one really knows how its so addicting. I myself, like quite a few others, can control it, but as you've probably seen around the internet others don't fare as well. I guess since I've played the strategy games that led up to it, the lore has grown on me and thats really what keeps me going.

My things with World of Warcraft is I understand how theres tons of crap to do. Literally tons.

But I cant see justifying $15 a month to play the game.

I'd rather get a game like Fallout 3 or Dragon Age Orgins at a bargin price i.e. under $30, that gives me at least 100-120 hours of gameplay.

Dragon Age:Origins was amazing! I am so looking forward to Dragon Age: Origins 2 (Name? Not sure if that is official.)

LOL 100-120 hours of gameplay, you do not even want to know how many hours I have clocked in on WoW . . . I have 10 characters, 7 of them are 80 (highest level you can go for now) and I just checked one of them, he had 77 days played time. This does not even count the characters I've gotten to level 40, and then just deleted them to make another because his face looked ugly or something. WoW has literally been about 20-40% of my life, considering 33% was for school, about 25% was for sleep and the rest for friends/WoW

I'd rather be oblivious to the exact number of days I've spent playing WoW. Days as a unit of time is probably not big enough, but weeks sounds so bad  ::)
