Dead Space 2
« on: December 22, 2010, 05:41:28 pm »
The sequel to one of last year's best games is due to release here in the very near future. The demo for the game came out just yesterday and I am downloading it as we speak.

The point is, our engineering friend Isaac has come a long way from the Ishimura and is back to battle a whole new set of Necromorphs in a game that will hopefully frighten the living crap out of me like its predecessor did so well.

What are all of you hoping to see in this game or get out of it? And how do yo think the multiplayer will fair? Will it flop like Bioshock 2? Or will it flourish like Call of Duty or Halo?

I loved the original Dead Space, not only did it have a great horror atmosphere, but the zero gravity scenes were really fun too.

I'm looking forward to the sequel and all it's scary make-you-jump-off-the-couch moments, and I'm eager to see to what extent Isaac's mental condition has deteriorated due to the traumatic events he went through.

I also wasn't aware that the game would have multiplayer, all I can hope for is Zero-Gravity Shootouts. It'll be like The Matrix with people jumping towards each other firing plasma cutters.

Nah I haven't yet. I've been meaning to download it but I had to finish up some games I was playing before I even thought about getting it on my 360.

Its alright. Nothing too fancy but still pretty Dead Space-like. It's just the tech demo from e3.

Alright I got the game, beat it, and it was really good. I love how Isaac now has a face and a voice, it makes for easier attachment and worse death scenes because you can at times actually see his face.

Great stuff.

I would get it but I'm having multiple problems.
1. Grounded. Need to get the grades up so the folks will stop bothering me.
2. No money. Need a job.
3. Every time I get on to enjoy myself, my step brother walks in to play CoD:BO, where he only plays Sticks and Stones, which he does very badly.
