Blackberry

So, apparently, the Blackberry creators(RIM, I believe) are coming up with this new Blackberry that seems like it's too smart to be classified as a SmartPhone...  GenuisPhone, perhaps?  Check it out:

This is exactly the kind of thing that RIM will need to do if it wants to remain a serious competitor.  Blackberry is still mega popular in the business world, but everyone knows that they suck compared to android and iphones.  i'm intrigued.

I heard about this. You are supposed to be able to tell the mood of the person you want to call or something. I personally think it will be given a major hype and then flop due to potential bugs in the technology.

Potential bugs? If what youre saying by it being a "mood detecting phone" is true then I see more than just bugs in this phones future...

I see this going the way of phones that Microsoft tries to develop -_-

the phone itself looks really cool but the whole aspect of having a ring to use it.... No not going to work out to well.

interesting technology, nonetheless.  it might end up being a failed first attempt, but if this is legit than you can be sure that this sort of tech will be adapted and will show up embedded in other devices as we progress.
