Hey guys, I work at GameStop, and I was wondering if any of you have a PowerUp card? If so, how many points do you have? I have 1850! (Timealien has around 10K I think... haha)

I have 0. Because I do not have a PowerUp Card. Although you guys keep sending me e-mails to get one. Might just have to do it.

Do not quite fully understand the benefits though.

hey jac its worth it. its like when ever you buy something you get 'points' which add up rather quickly, then you go online and you can order stuff from gamestop, not games, but like other stuff. decent program, i didn't like it as much as the old powerup rewards though

10% off used stuff, 10% more when you trade stuff in. 10 points per dollar on new ANYTHING, 20 points per dollar per used ANYTHING. 1 year subscription to GameInformer. And with the points you can buy all sorts of crap. Ranging from 10 $ off coupons to Turtle Beach X11s. And if you buy something anytime, you get enter into the Epic Giveaway that is different each month. This year its lego Harry Potter giveaway and its a ton of awesome crap.

Well thank you oh vigilant employee for enlightening my darkness  :P

I suppose the 10% of on purchases is the best thing along with potential rewards but as a general note. Do not trade in anything at Gamestop. At least I don't. It is not worth it. You get ripped off. The only thing worth it would be when you trade in an older system (i.e. DS) for value towards its newer counterpart (i.e. 3DS)
