Upcoming Films
« on: December 06, 2010, 12:32:20 pm »
What movies are you guys lookin forward to?

Personally I can't wait for those after great games like Gears of War, Warcraft, and Halo (still holdin on!!). People keep saying these movies won't be great since movies based on games have such a bad track record, but I say look at Resident Evil.

I think these movies could be pretty damn awesome

Right now I really can't think of any other good movies I'm waiting on due to lack of sleep  :(

The Resident Evil films are terrible. Abominations of the franchise. They stray far too much from the lore.

I am looking forward to Tron, Warrior's Way(Gotta have the B movie choice  :P ), True Grit (Looks fairly interesting and has a good cast), Unknown, and Thor.

That is all I can think of right now. I have also thought about seeing Black Swan. Anyone seen that movie yet?

Until they make a film version of RE4, stop making these films. I am one that know their RE, and these films are awful.

If someone other director, cast, producer, everything came along and decided to make a film involving a GUY playing LSK (wouldn't be surprised if Evonovich or whatever her name is played one.   ::)) Then I would see it.

Other than that, Warriors Way, TRONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN, and I need a new horror series... Saw is finished  :'(

I've heard excellent things about Tron. One can only hope its good, because as cheesy as the first one seems now Im a fan of it.

I'd rather them stop making these half-ass video game movies. If you want the story, play the game. It's that simple. Games just dont transfer well. Prince of Persia was disappointing in my book after all of the hype.

On my short list: Tron. Thor, CAPTAIN EFFING AMERICA, Kung Fu Panda 2, Green Lantern, Transformers 3(even after the plot fiasco that was Revenge of the Fallen) and Super 8.
Possibilities - X:Men First Class, The Green Hornet and Suker Punch(Just because I LOVE Zack Snyder's movies)

agreed on the resident evil complete suckage.  FYI, warrior's way is most definitely NOT a B movie.  try evil dead or el mariachi, or the toxic avenger as good examples of a b-movie.  that movie does look sick however, and i'm also stoked for tron.  not much else right now, i guess...  next year: adjustment bureau, rango, red riding hood, water for elephants, pirates of the carribean?, hangover 2?, x-men first class?, harry potter...
Well, f*** me gently with a chainsaw. Do I look like Mother Theresa?

Pirates will be iffy at best to me. Much like Transformers 3.

I just want ot see how they end it, although I honestly believe Pirates 4 is too much. I was perfectly fine with where they left it with At World's End. In fact, I couldve lived without the sequels. Story got too outrageous looking back on it, even if the effects made me happy.

Zombie Land 2??? Awesome!

I also can't wait for The Hangover 2. I'm going to that midnight premiere. Pirates - I wonder how thats going to be done. All I know is Penelope Cruz will be in it, and that's just the best damn icing you can find on an already delicious cake, imo.  8)

I am shocked, however, to hear such negatives about the RE movies. Afterlife I think I can understand, but I've heard nothing but good things about the others up until now.  ???
