I still have yet to finish this game. I just can not get into it like I did for Fallout 3. I spent so many hours playing that game, unconvering every nook and cranny and finding every easter egg. It was ridiculous. With New Vegas, while yes it is a good game and enjoyable, for me it just hasn't had the appeal that Fallout 3 had. I will probably pick it up over the holidays and finish it. Hopefully it picks up.

New Vegas has a much longer story line than Fallout 3. Meaning that it will have much more tedious running around  to new places that have not been discovered yet. But I do agree with Jac Deathly that it is a good game and like him I have yet to beat it.

I havent had a chance to pick it up yet but I've heard New Vegas is a real love it or hate it game. It's hard to imagine it having a longer storyline than Fallout 3 though. That bad boy had a ton of stuff to uncover and play through. Something I always respect abut Bethesda games, you get your money worth.

i beat the hell out of the game and exhausted almost every possibility on the "good" path.  i def <3 the fallout series.  for me this is as good as 3.  EXCEPT the freaking glitching and crashing.  but the fact that i still played so many hours into already despite the shortcomings indicates to me that it must be a superior game.

i'm kind of a dork for fallout, but if you liked 3, then you will like new vegas.  i played it exclusively for almost 2 months and never once got bored...  and that was just the first playthrough!
