Love this album.

I just couldnt get into Halo Wars. Not for a dumb story or anything, I just don;t like Console RTS games. So some of my judgment, actually most, is bias.

ODST doesnt deserve to have the Halo brand. It felt like the equivalent to the Halo series that CoD3 was to Call of Duty. The magic just isnt there. That being said I did enjoy Firefight.

I havent had a chance to play any of Reach surprisingly aside from the Beta test earlier this year but I hear it a step back towards the original.

JacDeathly is absolutely right when he said Halo 2 was the best. Storywise and Multiplayer it was incredible. Dont pretend like you didnt like the glitches and skulls. Did I mention how much of a badass I felt like playing as the Arbiter? Lastly I have to say, the Metropolis mission has to be in my Top 5 shooter levels ever. Mainly dude to the epicness of the Scarrab and Bridge fights.

That being said Halo 3 disappointed me greatly. Sure I loved it, but the magic just wasnt there. Campaign was lackluster at best and Online became a joke. Halo used to be the game that all us "serious" gamers played in LAN parties, not a whole bunch of 9 year olds who have yet to grow a pair. ODST was even worse IMO so much to the point I stopped playing the Campaign. It felt like something that could have easily just been an expansion or even another novel. And dont get me started on Halo Wars...

Bottom Line: Halo, while an incredible and iconic franchise(infact I would go so far to say the face of th4e last decade of gaming along with GTA and COD), has hit soem major bumps. Reach seems to be a step in the right direction but with installments like ODST and Wars, not to mention the ridiculously priced DLC, I cant help but wonder if all Microsoft cares about is getting money. I hope Frank O'Connor and 343 Industries turn this franchise around.

Potential bugs? If what youre saying by it being a "mood detecting phone" is true then I see more than just bugs in this phones future...

I see this going the way of phones that Microsoft tries to develop -_-

I actually fully expect at least a teaser of the next Halo game seeing as it will be the first project from 343 and if I remember correctly theyre already working on some project. Or maybe that was Bungee. Whatever.

I seriously expect something, even a leaked schematic, on the "Wii 2" before 2011 is up because lets all be honest: As cool of a concept that the Wii was there just isnt that much that's "revolutionary" about it. Sure we got some truly kickass exclusives but even so, my Wii has been gathering dust for upwards of a year now. But hell motion control has been around befo. (PS2 Eye Toy anybody?)  And with Microsoft and Sony infringing on Nintendo's territory they need a new "Killer Ap". I see this partially in the form of the 3DS, but something needs to be injected into the main system lineup.

Pretty sure this on the top of my favorite movies of the year just behind Inception and Toy Story 3. Beyond superb graphics and a memorable performance, two actually, from Jeff Bridges once again.

Much like the original was considered ahead of its time back in 1982, this one no doubt is a startaling realization of where the future of cinema is not only capable of but speeding toward.

Highly, Highly reccomend this movie.

Legacy Systems/Multiplatform Gaming / 2011 Predictions

Elder Scrolls V or Mass Effect 3. Game of the Year. Calling it. At least in my book.

Expect Modern Warfare 3 with a halfassed story to end the trilogy and some uber reveal that goes against game naritive by saying Gaz was Ghost and he's not really dead but comes back to kick ass.(Not likely, the second half at least)

Expect a new Halo announced by 343 Industries.

Ocarina of Time, Star Fox and Kid Icarus I see as launch titles for 3DS.

Skyward Sword to be meh. At best.

Kinnect and Playstation Move to both epic fail.

God willing a Knights of the Old Republic 3 announcement. And not this MMO ****.

Apple to make more of a name in the handheld gaming market via the iPhone and iPad. (You have to admit for a dollar soem of those things are addicting. i.e Angry Birds)

Sony to release the PSP2 and nobody care. Again.

The Infinity Ward workers who left Activision make a new killer IP to distract attention from MW3 that nobody will catch on to for another 4 years.

Announcements:
Grand Theft Auto 5
Pikmin 3
Footage from Metal Gear Rising
Kingdom Heats 3(Probably not.)
A Somewhat solid looking Final Fantasy.(VERY Doubtful)

I expect solid details by the end of the year about the successor to the Wii. Microsoft and Sony wont announce anything until E3 2012 imo.

No idea. They always have stupid names. With the exception of Oblivion. That was actually kinda cool.

I only use Bose when doing on stage work or video production. Too expensive for me to buy on my own but I will admit they do give a pretty full sound when hooked up to a system in a building.

A playlist of Daft Punk stuff. Love the beats these guys have.

Particularly digging the fact that they did the ENTIRE Tron Legacy soundtrack which is superb both as a soundtrack and as a techno album.

The first one was kinda epic and actually pretty decent. The second just had some gorgeous effects I will admit that.

But come on. Even a movie with lots of explosions, gorgeous visuals and a perverted robot still needs a halfway decent story.

Soundwave wasnt even in the first one. That was some other piece of crap.

But in all reality, he wasone of the major plotholes in RotF. How do you not notice a giant killing machine of death hijacking your satellite and sitting there the entire movie?

Its not. Theres no way. I did think it though, same style head.

If it was then there will be hell to pay. Mark my words Michael Bay.

On a side note:

Transformers 3 = Suckage. Looks like the stupidest movie ever made as an adaptation short of a Uwe Boll movie.

And this is from the guy who likes Cloverfield and the CGI RE movie.
